Mobipol at Motorshow 2019 – Report

From March 28-31, 2019, the Motorshow 2019 took place, which is the biggest automotive event in Poland. As automotive enthusiasts and an Authorized Distributor in the Poznań area, we couldn’t miss it! For 4 days, together with the manufacturer, we actively presented and promoted the Mobil brand at the booth in Pavilion 4.

VIII Mechanics Championship

One of the main highlights of the event was, of course, the Mechanics Championship organized for the eighth time and under the patronage of Mobil 1. Out of a record over 2500 participants, 130 advanced to the finals, competing in Poznań in the categories of Professional Mechanic, Young Mechanic, and for the first time, Agricultural Machinery Mechanic. For the fourth time, the best professional mechanic turned out to be Jacek Bagiński from Kołobrzeg, who this time won by just a 0.5 point difference. In the Young Mechanic category, the winners were Maciej Kwasek and Fryderyk Libora from Sandomierz, and the best Young Agricultural Machinery Mechanics were Michał Kałwa and Hubert Łukawiecki from Żary. Mobipol assisted in the competitions related to oil selection, and as a prize, presented the winners with Mobil oils.

Premiere of Mobil Boxx

Besides the mechanics’ competitions, an undeniable attraction was also the premiere of the new, ecological packaging of Mobil Boxx for popular engine oils from the Mobil 1 series (Mobil 1 ESP 5W30, Mobil 1 FS 0W40), Mobil Super 3000 (Mobil Super 3000 X1 5W40, Mobil Super 3000 F-FE 5W30, Mobil Super 3000 XE 5W30, Mobil Super 3000 F-F 5W20, Mobil Super 3000 F-P 0W30, Mobil Super 3000 F-R 5W30) and Mobil Super 2000 10W40. Other Attractions

This year’s edition of the event attracted almost 150,000 people and 170 exhibitors, among which was also ExxonMobil. In 15 pavilions, over 1000 vehicles were presented, 60 of which made their debut in Poznań. Besides the Mechanics Championship, the event featured a range of other events, such as the Women’s Motorcyclists Zone “Speed Ladies”, the Nationwide Automotive Knowledge Competition, a display of tuned cars, and a precise driving competition for bus drivers. A great attraction was driving a car in virtual reality available at the Mobil booth, the opportunity to meet stars such as Grzegorz Duda or Kuba Bielak, and the Video Bloggers Arena, which gathered well-known automotive bloggers and influencers.
