Lubrication Challenges

Does your lubricant meet all the requirements?

Lubricating moving parts requires more than just reducing friction. An improper lubricant can lead to premature wear, corrosion, and costly downtime.

Five Critical Issues in Lubrication

Grease Washout

Grease Washout

Water and moisture destroy the grease's structure, causing it to wash out. Loss of lubricating properties leads to direct metal-to-metal contact and accelerated wear.

Degradation at High Temperatures

Degradation at High Temperatures

Extreme temperatures cause the grease to break down and lose consistency. The lubricant runs off bearings, leaving parts unprotected.

Insufficient High Load Protection

Insufficient High Load Protection

Standard lubricants fail under high pressures and shock loads. Lack of EP additives leads to surface wear and gear failure.

Short Re-lubrication Intervals

Short Re-lubrication Intervals

Low oxidative stability requires frequent re-lubrication. Increased service costs and risk of missing lubrication points.

Non-compliance with Industry Requirements

Non-compliance with Industry Requirements

Lack of certifications for food contact or biodegradability. Limitations in specialized applications and legal risks.

We select the optimal lubricant for your application

  • All-Purpose Lubricants

High-quality lithium grease for a wide range of industrial and automotive applications. Excellent for bearings, joints, and guides where extreme conditions do not occur.

  • High-Temperature Lubricants

Advanced polyurea and synthetic oil-based lubricants for high temperature applications. Ideal for electric motors, industrial furnaces, and equipment operating in hot environments.

  • EP Lubricants for Extreme Loads

Specialized lubricants with anti-wear and EP additives, often containing molybdenum disulfide or graphite. Essential in heavily loaded bearings, gearboxes, and construction machinery.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Lithium grease is universal and economical, suitable for most standard applications. Polyurea grease offers better thermal stability and longer life, ideal for electric motor bearings.

  • Mixing lubricants with different thickeners can degrade properties. Avoid mixing, especially soaps with polyurea or different types of soaps.

  • Frequency depends on working conditions - temperature, load, rotational speed. A regular lubrication schedule should be based on manufacturer recommendations and operational experience.

  • NLGI grade indicates grease consistency from very soft (000) to very hard (6). The most popular NLGI 2 grade is suitable for most bearing applications.

  • Silicone grease is used for a wide range of temperatures and plastic compatibility. PTFE improves sliding properties and is used in applications requiring low friction.

  • Molybdenum disulfide is a solid lubricant that provides protection under extreme loads. It forms a protective layer even when the base oil is squeezed out from the surface.
